It Gets Better is an Internet-based 5013 nonprofit with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe.​​​​​​​ 
Cal Poly Pomona's AIGA club partnered with It Gets Better in their 24-hour design marathon. The club had 24 hours to create pieces for the company. As part of the collateral team, merch was created for the nonprofit for use on both their website and for free collateral during the pride parade. 
For this design, I took inspiration from the Barrel of Monkeys, with the idea that communities are stronger and better together. It creates a message of hope to queer youth that they can find their community, found or familial.
